I am wanting to get a petition signing goin for Dale Thompson of Ninnekah, OK. He deserves the right to be heard and deserves his full retirement if health is becoming an issue in daily life. He is losing everything just because he was admitted to the hospital and wrongfully terminated from employment

This is the unfair reality faced by my dear friend, a steadfast county employee, who has been wrongfully terminated after nearly three decades of impeccable service.
For 28 years, this man worked tirelessly, often putting the needs of the county and its residents above his own. He showed unwavering commitment, offering his expertise and time to improve our community. Yet, in a deeply unsettling turn of events, he was unexpectedly and heartlessly terminated without any benefits or retirement compensation when he needed support the most.
This is not only an issue of fairness but also a breach of moral responsibility. Employees who have dedicated their lives to public service, especially in such lengthy tenures, deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. It is unconscionable that an individual who contributed so much to Grady County is left vulnerable and without support, particularly during a health crisis.
We cannot stand by and let this injustice continue. The county administration must be held accountable, not just for their egregious lack of compassion, but for their adherence to labor laws and ethical employment practices. We demand that the city reinstate my friend to his position or, at the very least, provide him with the full benefits and retirement package that he rightfully deserves.
