The Issue

My son was unjustly accused and suffered the consequences of a bureaucratic failure. On June 24, 2024, at Bledsoe County Correctional Complex located in Pikeville, TN, my son was charged with participating in a riot that never took place. Despite the Tennessee Department of Correction (TDOC) being contacted and confirming the absence of any riot, my son was held in segregation from June 24 to October 31, isolated and punished for an offense he did not commit.

The correctional officers at the facility affirm that no such riot occurred, and yet, the institution proceeds with unwarranted charges. The office of Cameron Sexton, along with other concerned parties, has requested access to the video footage that would serve as undeniable proof of my son's innocence, yet these requests have been met with silence. The refusal to release this footage raises serious concerns about transparency and accountability within the correctional system.

This is not just about my son; it’s about ensuring that justice is served, and that correctional facilities cannot abuse their power and subject innocent individuals to harsh penalties without evidence. The mental and emotional toll on my family has been immense, and the lack of justice only exacerbates our pain.

We need loyal supporters and kind-hearted individuals like you to stand with us. We seek justice and an end to such wrongful accusations. Help us urge the authorities to release the video footage and clear my son's name. Let us hold the system accountable and ensure no other family suffers as ours has.

Sign this petition to demand transparency, fairness, and justice for the innocent. Your voice can help bring justice to those who have been wrongfully accused and punished.
