The Issue

Naziyah Harris and Janiyah Butts, among other victims, have suffered immensely due to the actions of Jarvis Butts and his accomplices. These children have been subjected to heinous acts, leaving scars not only on their bodies but also on their spirits. The impact of these crimes extends beyond the immediate victims, affecting families and the broader community that once felt secure.

Despite the gravity of these crimes, there has been an unsettling lack of legal accountability for all involved. While Jarvis Butts has been identified in connection with these criminal acts, others who played a role have yet to face justice. Annette Harris, Shannon Harris, and Markita Harris are believed to have been complicit, yet they remain free. The allegations against them include child endangerment, child abuse, aiding and abetting, and involvement in criminal sexual acts as accomplices.

The Michigan State Attorney's Office has a duty to protect our children and deliver justice for all victims. The current inaction undermines the community's trust in the judicial system and prolongs the agony of those affected. It is crucial for the stability of our community that the authorities take immediate and decisive action.

Naziyah, Janiyah, and their families deserve to see all perpetrators held accountable. We, as a community, cannot remain silent while justice is denied. We urge the Michigan State Attorney's Office to act swiftly and arrest Annette Harris, Shannon Harris, and Markita Harris for their roles in these crimes.

Signing this petition is a stand against child abuse and a call for justice to prevail. It is only through our collective voice that we can spur the necessary action and ensure that those who harm our children are not above the law. Stand with us to demand accountability and justice now. Please sign this petition to make your voice heard.
