Our beloved brother, Rudy Ochoa, was tragically taken from us on Thanksgiving night. A hardworking and loving father, Rudy was led to the crime scene by his ex-partner and an unknown group of men, who set him up and brutally shot him multiple times. Despite the horrific nature of this crime, no arrests have been made in connection with his death. 

Rudy's murder is not just a personal tragedy; it is indicative of a larger issue plaguing our community in Tucson, AZ. According to the Tucson Police Department's annual report (2019), there were 53 homicides that year but only 35% resulted in an arrest within 60 days. This means that many families like ours are left without justice.

We are calling on local law enforcement and judicial authorities to take immediate action to solve Rudy’s case. We demand thorough investigation into all leads related to his murder so that those responsible can be held accountable for their actions.

The grief we feel over losing Rudy is unbearable; however, knowing that his killers walk free adds insult to our injury. We need your help not only for ourselves but also for other families who may find themselves in similar situations.
