On April 19, 2025, our community was forever changed when his so called mother Teesha Luca opened fire at him while he was leaving her home as he entered his vehicle. That's when one of its brightest lights was tragically extinguished. Xavier Cox, at the tender age of 21, was taken from us under circumstances that remain unanswered. Known for his unwavering smile and boundless encouragement towards others, Xavier embodied love, ambition, and creativity. His work ethic was unparalleled, and his genuineness touched all who knew him. Xavier's life was a testament to the beauty of kindness and hard work, and his memory deserves justice.

Despite the passing of time, justice for Xavier remains elusive. It is incomprehensible and deeply painful that his killer remains at large, leaving a gaping hole in the lives of all who cherished him. As members of the Riverside County community, and as people who knew and loved Xavier, we cannot stand silently by any longer.

We hereby petition the Riverside County District Attorney's Office and the Riverside County Sheriff's Office to conduct an exhaustive and impartial investigation into the events surrounding Xavier's untimely death. The investigation should explore all avenues and leave no stone unturned, especially considering any evidence or probable cause involving Teesha Lucas or other potential suspects.

Xavier Cox deserves not only our remembrance but also our efforts towards true justice. His family seeks closure, and his community demands accountability. Engaging in this pursuit serves as a solemn promise to Xavier—his voice still echoes through us, demanding fairness and truth.
