This is a cry for justice echoing from the depths of a parent's pain. My son Alex Morales, a promising young man with all his future ahead of him, tragically became disabled on 08-02-2022 due to the reckless actions of David Darling, who left my son for dead, his actions have resulted in my son suffering a traumatic brain injury that has unfortunately put an end to his dreams. David Darling's negligence flipping our universe upside down is not something we will stand by in silence.

Brain injuries are catastrophic and can lead to lifelong disabilities. According to the Brain Injury Association of America, roughly 2.6 million people every year are affected by some form of brain injury, ranging from temporary impairments to lifelong disabilities. Yet, these statistics are more than just numbers. They reflect real people whose lives have been irrevocably altered by such injuries—people like my son Alex. 

His dreams have been destroyed, his potential locked behind a wall of disability that he did not deserve to face so soon in his life. This is an injustice that demands retribution. No parent should witness their child's dreams crumbling before their eyes due to another's careless actions.

This petition is a call to ensure that David Darling is held accountable for his actions. It's a call for justice.
