Demand Justice for Students and Quota Reform in Bangladesh

Demand Justice for Students and Quota Reform in Bangladesh
The Issue
STUDENT LIVES MATTER!
We are raising our voices against the brutal actions taken by the government of Bangladesh against peaceful student protesters demanding quota reform. In this movement, several students have tragically lost their lives, and many more have been injured. Our goals are clear:
1. Justice for the Dead and Injured Students: Hold accountable those responsible for the deaths and injuries of students during these peaceful protests.
2. Quota Reform: Implement fair and equitable quota reforms that provide equal opportunities for all students.
3. Right to Peaceful Protest: Ensure that in the future, students can protest peacefully without the threat of violence from the government or its supporters.o
4. Economic Boycott Campaign: For those living outside Bangladesh, initiate a campaign to temporarily stop remittances to Bangladesh as a form of protest.
“We urge the Bangladeshi diaspora to join us in making a significant economic impact by temporarily halting remittances to Bangladesh until the government addresses our demands for justice, quota reform, and the protection of peaceful protests. This act of solidarity will pressure the government to take our concerns seriously and bring about meaningful change.”
We want Justice...
