Demand Justice for Kohen Wiley: Reform Senatobia Police and fire officer Hunter Foster
The Issue
One-year-old Kohen Wiley is dead after an officer-involved shooting outside a Walmart in Senatobia, Mississippi.
According to investigators, police responded to a reported shoplifting call. During the encounter, an officer fired into a vehicle carrying Kohen, his mother, and another adult. Kohen was killed, and another occupant was seriously injured.
The officer involved has been placed on administrative leave while the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation conducts its investigation. Meanwhile, Kohen’s family, community members, and supporters across the country are demanding answers, accountability, and justice.
A child is gone. A family is grieving. And people are asking how a one-year-old ended up dead during a response to an alleged shoplifting incident.
That’s why I’ve started a petition calling for accountability in Kohen Wiley’s death, the termination of the officer involved if wrongdoing is found, and meaningful police reform in Senatobia to help prevent tragedies like this from happening again.
No matter where you stand, transparency matters. Accountability matters. The community deserves answers, and Kohen’s family deserves a full and independent investigation.
If you believe there should be a thorough investigation, greater transparency, and meaningful discussion about police policies and practices, please sign and share my petition.
Every signature helps bring attention to Kohen’s story and sends a message that the community is watching and demanding answers.
Justice for Kohen Wiley. Don’t let this story be forgotten.
