Demand Justice for Joshua Hernandez, Victim of Drunk Driving

The Issue

On October 22nd, 2023, Joshua Hernandez tragically lost his life in a drunk driving accident. Savannah Myers was behind the wheel that night with their two children in the vehicle. Despite Josh's responsible decision to call a friend for a safe ride home for the family, Myers refused to wait or pull over. This resulted in Joshua losing his life; as well as, one child having life-threatening injuries, and the other child being hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries. To date, no one has been arrested or convicted in relation to this devastating incident.

Joshua's story is not unique - every day almost 30 people in the United States die in drunk-driving crashes (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration). Yet his case remains unresolved and justice unserved. This petition seeks to bring attention to Joshua's case and demand that appropriate legal action be taken against those responsible for his untimely death.

We appeal especially to residents of Wisconsin where this tragedy occurred but also anyone who believes in justice and safety on our roads. Your signature can help ensure that Joshua did not die in vain and can potentially save future lives by highlighting the dire consequences of drunk driving.

Potential charges Myers is facing, but hasn't been convicted of are at the following link. Only with your help we might have a chance.

Please sign this petition today and demand justice for Joshua Hernandez.
