We, the concerned citizens of Clanton, AL, are calling for justice in the case of Dyquan Floyd. We believe that his tragic and untimely death deserves a thorough investigation and accountability for those responsible.

Dyquan Floyd was a young African American man who lost his life under suspicious circumstances on September 3, 2023. It is our duty as a community to demand transparency and fairness in this case. We cannot allow another life to be forgotten or dismissed without proper scrutiny.

We firmly believe that no one should fear for their safety or lose their life. The trust between law enforcement and our community has been shaken, and it is crucial that we restore faith in our justice system through a fair investigation into Dyquan Floyd's death.

By signing this petition, we are urging Clanton authorities to:

1. Conduct an independent investigation into the circumstances surrounding Dyquan Floyd's death.

The lack of progress in investigating and prosecuting those responsible for harming my son is not only disheartening but also highlights a broader issue within our justice system. It is deeply troubling that countless cases like mine are often overlooked or neglected due to various reasons such as inadequate resources or systemic biases.
