The Issue

My name is [LeAundria Williams ], and I am the mother of Izaah Ashley—my sunshine, my joy, my blessing from God. On August 10, 2025, my son’s life was stolen. A driver ran a red light, struck him, and fled. When every second mattered, the ambulance took fifteen minutes to arrive. At the hospital, instead of compassion, I was met with coldness. I was told—through smiles—that my son was brain dead.

This was not just one tragedy. It was a chain of failures: a reckless driver, a delayed response, and a lack of humanity at a time when empathy was needed most. Izaah’s life mattered. His future mattered. He was my sunshine, my everything.

I will not stop fighting until there is truth, accountability, and #JusticeForIzaah. This negligence must not go unpunished. We need thorough investigations and changes in procedures to ensure that no other family endures what we have gone through.

The driver who took my son’s life must be found and brought to justice. The local authorities should prioritize this case and ensure swift and transparent action. Moreover, emergency services protocols must be improved to guarantee faster responses, and hospital staff should be trained to deliver news in a more compassionate manner.

None of this will bring back my son, but by signing this petition, you can help prevent future tragedies. Stand with me in demanding accountability and change. Time heals nothing without justice and action. Please sign and share this petition to demand changes and to honor Izaah’s memory. #justiceforizaah
