The Issue

As someone who has supported the Dallas Cowboys and poured my passion and hard-earned money into this team, it is disheartening to see how Jerry Jones is managing it. Ever since he took over in 1989, the team has had a few high points punctuated by numerous disappointments. Despite having one of the highest valued franchises in the world (Forbes, 2020), our performances have been inconsistent and rarely reach the heights we, as fans, aspire to. With a lack of Super Bowl appearances for over a quarter of a century, it becomes ever more apparent that a change is needed. Jones' double role as the owner and general manager compromises the welfare of the team and robs the franchise of objective, effective leadership. We, as fans, demand Jerry Jones to step down as General Manager of the Dallas Cowboys, for the sake of its future and the loyal fans. Now is the time to take action - let's sign this petition and demand changes that will revitalize our beloved team.
