They were victims once in the gruesome Dog Meat Trade among other unimaginable situations, rescued only to meet an equally ghastly death. The glimmers of a second chance at life, promised by No Dogs Left Behind under the stewardship of Jeffrey Beri, were brutally snuffed out when these dogs were burnt alive.
Numerous dog lovers, volunteers and workers have voiced concerns about Beri's treatment of these animals, with some even possessing video evidence of misconduct. Despite multiple reports against him, he continues to helm a non-profit organization. His undeterred operation despite these allegations raise critical questions about the oversights in monitoring animal rescue organizations.
