As a concerned citizen and a caregiver for the elderly, I am deeply disturbed by the growing concerns surrounding the clear elder abuse involving Mitch McConnell. It's an issue that transcends political affiliations, touching upon the foundational values of compassion and respect for our seniors. Every individual deserves to live and die with dignity—this includes our political leaders, irrespective of our personal viewpoints.

The health and wellbeing of Mitch McConnell have been repeatedly called into question. His public appearances sometimes suggest a man who is physically struggling and  enduring mistreatment.

Our society is judged by how we treat our most vulnerable. Adult Protective Services (APS) is the governmental body responsible for the safety and dignity of the elderly. We need to urge APS to conduct a thorough investigation into this matter to ensure Mitch McConnell is receiving the care and support he deserves.

Furthermore, it's time for us to consider term limits for political offices. Holding power indefinitely might sometimes prevent politicians from considering when it's best for them to step down for personal welfare, and conversely, for the betterment of public service.

I implore you, as compassionate residents of our community, to stand with me. We’re not at war with individuals; we’re advocating for a change in the systems that overlook the rights and needs of our elders. Join me in calling on APS to take immediate action. Demand accountability, care, and a rightful investigation.
