I am a student at IE University, Madrid, Spain, and recently my academic life has been turned upside down due to an unfair decision by the university administration. They have decided that all BBA students must retake exams they didn’t fail. This is in response to cases of cheating that occurred during the exam period.

Instead of investigating these cases individually and punishing those responsible, the university has chosen a blanket approach that affects innocent students like me who did not cheat but studied hard for these exams. Now we are being forced to retake them after Christmas holidays when many won't be back in time.

This decision not only impacts our academic performance but also disrupts our personal plans. In my case, I was given an opportunity to attend an International Finance Conference in Germany representing my university. However, due to this sudden change in exam schedule, I can't go now even though I have already paid for flights, accommodation and conference fees.

Furthermore, this decision could potentially affect my GPA which is crucial for my exchange semester selection process. It's disheartening how a few cheaters' actions can impact so many innocent students' futures.

We urge IE University administration to reconsider their decision and take appropriate measures against those who cheated instead of punishing everyone indiscriminately. Please sign this petition if you believe in fair treatment and justice for all students at IE University.
