We are calling on HBO to cancel the show "Real Time with Bill Maher" due to its host's history of offensive content. Bill Maher, a self-proclaimed Zionist, has repeatedly shown Islamophobic and anti-Arab bigotry on his show. This includes a recent segment where he satirically portrayed women wearing the Niqab as models, which is deeply disrespectful and offensive towards the Islamic community. Furthermore, Maher has been accused of supporting inappropriate relationships between adults and minors in a resurfaced video, he also has multiple accusations of pedophilic grooming against him. It is unacceptable for such content and behavior to be promoted on a platform like HBO that reaches millions of viewers worldwide. We believe in freedom of speech but not when it promotes hate speech or illegal activities. We urge HBO to take action by cancelling "Real Time with Bill Maher" immediately in order to uphold their responsibility towards promoting respectful content.
