Google’s recovery system relies on a flawed, "perfect world" assumption: that you will always have access to your old hardware and past Wi-Fi networks. It completely ignores basic human reality. Real life is messy. Devices smash, tech gets stolen, and people relocate. When these normal emergencies happen, Google's automated algorithm flags the legitimate owner as a hacker, offering a "Try another way" button that leads to an immediate dead end. Because Google offers absolutely zero human customer service or manual verification options for standard accounts, users are left completely stranded with no recourse.

Our Demand: A Secure, Manual Identity Verification Path: We are not asking Google to compromise security or weaken hacker defenses. We are demanding a realistic, human safety net when automation fails.We demand that Google implements a secure, secondary verification process managed by human review teams. If a user fails the automated device and network checks, they must be given the option to securely submit official government photo identification (such as a passport, age of majority card, or driver’s license) or utilize a secure video verification protocol to prove their identity and reclaim their account. Multi-billion dollar tech giants that control essential modern infrastructure must provide human accountability.
