Air travel can be stressful, but what passengers recently experienced with Turkish Airlines went far beyond normal travel disruptions.
Passengers were forced to endure more than 24 hours of delays, confusion, and frustration while trying to complete their journey. Throughout the ordeal, airline representatives repeatedly provided conflicting and misleading explanations about the cause and length of the delays.
Instead of transparency and assistance, passengers were left waiting in airports with little clarity about when—or if—they would reach their destination.
Families, business travelers, and elderly passengers were all affected. Plans were ruined. Important commitments were missed. What should have been a routine trip turned into an exhausting and distressing experience.
Airlines must be held accountable when passengers are treated this way.
What We Are Asking
We call on Turkish Airlines to:
Provide full refunds to affected passengers.
Offer fair compensation for the 24+ hours of delays and disruption.
