There is a pressing need to uncover the truth regarding the forces that lured him into a deadly trap and to expose the conditions that led to his tragic demise.

Why was Mazen rearrested? Who orchestrated his return to Syria, and under what pretenses? These questions still linger unanswered, leaving his family, friends, and supporters in agony. Further, there has been no accountability regarding his belongings, such as his bags, clothes, and phones, leaving potential evidence, and key connections lost in the void.

Mazen al Hamada's bravery, his tireless fighting spirit, and compassion should not be forgotten or diminished in silence. His voice spoke for millions of Syrians who demand change, accountability, and justice. His story and struggle continues to resonate with many across the globe who fight against tyranny and oppression.

We urgently call for a comprehensive and transparent investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mazen’s disappearance and death. It is imperative that international human rights organizations, Syrian authorities, and governmental entities work collaboratively to uncover the truth.
