We, the citizens of PB-8 Sibi, are calling for urgent action to address the rampant electoral rigging and voter suppression that marred the recent elections in our constituency. Our leader, Mir Muhammad Asghar Khan Marri of Sibi Ittehad, was on the verge of victory with 13,000 legitimate votes from the people of Sibi. However, his opponent, Sardar Sarfaraz Chakar Domki of Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarian, has a history of winning this seat through bogus votes and electoral manipulation for the past two decades.

In the most recent election, Sardar Sarfaraz Chakar Domki resorted to despicable tactics to maintain his grip on power. He systematically mishandled our polling agents and intimidated our female supporters, preventing them from fulfilling their duties and exercising their right to vote. Moreover, he brazenly denied many of our supporters the opportunity to cast their votes, effectively disenfranchising them.

In response to this flagrant violation of democratic principles, our people took to the streets in peaceful protest, sitting on the roads for more than three days to demand justice and fair elections. Our voices must not be ignored. We demand re-polling in tahsil Lahri of Sibi, where the most egregious instances of electoral fraud occurred.

Fair and transparent elections are the cornerstone of democracy. By allowing electoral rigging to go unchecked, we undermine the very foundation of our democratic system. We urge the Election Commission and relevant authorities to take immediate action to rectify this injustice and ensure that the will of the people prevails.
