The Issue

We the undersigned members of AFSCME Local 328 demand a special meeting be held to address concerns surrounding the suspension of CG Brothers, Trisha Crabb, and Karri Garaventa.

Further, the suspension of popular candidates just days before the election is suspect at best. The incumbent president’s involvement in that suspension compounds the suspicions.  We demand that a new election be held to begin 15 days from the date of this meeting. In this election, we demand that Karri Garaventa, Trisha Crabb, and CG Brothers be allowed to run despite their suspension.

Our union recognizes that the International Union made a decision. That decision does not align with the wants, needs, and desires of our membership. We are demanding an opportunity to vote for the leaders we believe in.

This petition will be presented to our Executive Board once we receive the required number of signatures to call for a meeting.
