The Issue

We represent many Canadians who suffered injuries after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. This is a pivotal moment—not just for us, but for all who have been affected. In the face of such personal adversity, we must not allow global shifts in health policy to dictate the abandonment of the vulnerable. Instead, these challenges should compel us to act with courage, care, and a clear purpose.

We call upon the Government of Canada and the Honourable Members of Parliament to take urgent action. Public trust is fragile, and it is crucial that these issues are debated within the walls of the House of Commons. We demand a full, independent review of the Vaccine Injury Support Program (VISP), as transparency and accountability are vital for maintaining that trust.

Furthermore, a public inquiry into the treatment of Canadians injured by the COVID-19 vaccine is necessary. The voices of those suffering cannot continue to echo unheard in silence. It is time that Canada stands as a beacon of integrity, justice, and hope for its citizens.

We urgently need federal support for national research focusing on the long-term effects of COVID vaccines, accurate diagnosis of vaccine-related injuries, and effective recovery strategies. This research will help guide future health policies that are both scientifically sound and compassionate.

Supporting scientifically-backed vaccine technologies does not mean abandoning the injured. With adequate acknowledgement, care, and support, we can tirelessly advocate for those injured while advancing in medicine. Abandonment and advancement are not mutually exclusive—both must go hand in hand.

In August 2025, U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. authorized the cancellation of 22 mRNA vaccine research contracts, totaling nearly $500 million. These contracts supported efforts to develop new vaccines against respiratory viruses—including COVID-19, flu, and avian flu—utilizing advanced mRNA platforms.

The stated rationale: these vaccines "fail to protect effectively against upper respiratory infections" and are deemed "under tested."

We respectfully urge all Members of Parliament and federal health officials to lead with urgency, empathy, and scientific integrity. We demand the following:

1.Reform of the Vaccine Injury Support Program (VISP): Immediate review and restructuring of VISP to ensure fair, timely, and transparent access to support for all injured Canadians. Push for a federal review of VISP to ensure transparency, efficiency, and equity. Demand proper vetting and oversight of the VISP medical review panel. Insist on full disclosure of qualifications, conflict-of-interest policies, and clear accountability mechanisms.
2. Official Acknowledgment of Vaccine Injury Within the Medical Community: Recognition and clinical education are essential to reduce harm, eliminate gaslighting, and improve treatment.
3. Allocation of Federal Research Funding: Dedicated funding for research into the disease processes behind vaccine injuries, diagnosis, and the development of effective treatments.
4. Unrestricted Access to Medical Care: Eliminate regulatory and professional barriers that prevent healthcare professionals from treating vaccine-injured patients without fear of reprisal.
5. Investigation Into MAID Being Offered to the Injured / Guard Against MAID Misuse: It is unacceptable that those suffering from vaccine injuries are being steered toward assisted death due to lack of care. Call for an investigation into cases where MAID (Medical Assistance in Dying) may be suggested as a substitute for adequate care for the injured—a gross travesty of our healthcare principles.
6. Oversight of Regulatory Body Overreach / Unfettered Medical Access:
Ensure healthcare providers can offer care to the injured without fear of disciplinary action. Examine why doctors are being censored or stripped of their licenses for attempting to provide alternative, compassionate care.
7. Public Acknowledgment and Professional Training: Advocate for official recognition of vaccine injuries within the medical community. Encourage training for clinicians to treat and support injured patients compassionately.
8. Defend Evidence-Based Innovation: Reaffirm support for scientifically sound vaccine technologies while tirelessly advocating for the injured—because abandonment and advancement are not mutually exclusive.

Out of this injustice, hope rises.

CANrise19 Advocacy Society, a registered Canadian nonprofit, was created by and for the vaccine-injured. We are dedicated to advocacy, emotional and community support, and soon, a medical care fund for those denied access to care by our own government.

We are a nonprofit organization built on compassion and science. Our mission is clear: Canadians should not have to leverage their lives to live.

We urge you to recognize the suffering that cannot be left to persist in silent obscurity. Please stand with us in bringing attention, compassion, and change. Sign this petition to ensure that every voice is heard and each injury is acknowledged and addressed.
