We, the undersigned, are demanding an immediate federal investigation by the FBI and Department of Justice into the death of Boston Police Officer John O’Keefe and the alleged cover-up that led to the wrongful prosecution of Karen Read.

John O’Keefe died under suspicious circumstances on January 29, 2022.

Karen Read was accused of hitting him with her SUV — but the evidence never added up.

Why did investigators ignore obvious conflicts of interest?
Why were individuals present at 34 Fairview Road the night John died never seriously investigated?
Why did the prosecution pursue Karen Read while seemingly shielding others?

We’re asking the FBI Public Corruption Division, the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ, and the U.S. Attorney for Massachusetts to launch a federal probe into:
