I am an employee at Dollar Tree, a place where we are expected to do everything in the store for just $9.25 an hour. This wage is not only insufficient for us existing employees, but it also fails to attract new hires, leaving us understaffed and overworked. As the company plans to introduce seven-dollar items into their inventory, it's high time they consider raising our pay as well.

Dollar Tree is a multi-billion dollar corporation with over 15,000 stores across the United States (source: Forbes). Despite its financial success and expansion plans, it continues to pay its hardworking employees a meager $9.25 per hour - barely above the federal minimum wage of $7.25 (source: U.S Department of Labor).

The cost of living continues to rise while our wages remain stagnant. We believe that a raise in our hourly rate to at least $13 would not only be fair compensation for our work but would also help attract more people willing to work here.
