Fans and followers of WakeOne artists and MNET survival show participants have been vocal for years about the inhumane treatment and exploitative practices present in the industry. Our calls for change, expressed through emails, lawsuits, hashtag events and continuous advocacy efforts, seem to have fallen on deaf ears time and time again. Real change must happen.

The mistreatment has now spanned over a decade affecting the lives and careers of countless individuals (over 2,000!) who have worked hard and have faced mistreatment in return. As each campaign intensifies, so does mismanagement of the artists. From unfair contracts and overbearing work schedules to lack of mental health support and frequent hospital trips, the situation is dire and needs urgent intervention.

Industry professionals, including staff and participants, deserve to work in an environment where their rights and well-being are prioritized. High-profile cases and scandals, such as the discrimination and rigging lawsuits against CJ ENM and testimonies from former employees on platforms like social media, expose the gravity of these issues.
