The Issue

As a dedicated Habbo player, I, like many others, have faced unjust treatment, poor customer support, and a lack of transparency from Sulake and Azerion. After years of supporting the game—both with time and financial investment—I was unfairly banned due to an issue related to a refund request. Despite providing extensive proof of ownership, including invoices, bank statements, and in-game screenshots, my case was never properly reviewed.

This petition is not just about my case but about a larger issue affecting the entire Habbo community. Many players have faced wrongful bans, inconsistent enforcement of rules, and frustrating interactions with an unresponsive customer support system. It’s time for Sulake and Azerion to be held accountable.

The Problems
❌ Unjust Bans & Poor Investigation
Sulake’s banning policies lack consistency and fairness. In my case, I requested a refund through Apple Pay instead of following Sulake’s preferred process. As a result, I was permanently banned without a proper case review. Despite providing substantial proof of ownership, support continues to demand a 9-digit transaction number that Apple does not provide. Additionally, iCloud automatically deletes older emails, making it impossible for me to retrieve the required information and resolve the issue.

Many other players have faced similar issues, often losing years of progress and investment due to vague enforcement policies and lack of investigation. Players should not be punished for unclear refund policies or incomplete customer service procedures.

❌ Overly Complex & Unclear Terms of Service
Habbo’s Terms of Service are excessively long and difficult to understand. Important clauses are buried in legal jargon, making it easy for players to unknowingly violate rules. If Sulake truly values its players, these terms should be clear, concise, and accessible—not hidden behind pages of confusing text.

❌ Nonexistent Customer Support
Sulake’s support system is fundamentally broken. Players report automated responses, unhelpful replies, and ignored tickets—even in cases where substantial evidence is provided. Paying customers deserve better than being dismissed and ignored.

❌ Financial Instability & Lack of Transparency
Publicly available records indicate that Sulake is struggling financially. If the company is in debt and facing challenges, players deserve to know how it affects the game’s future. Lack of transparency erodes trust and leaves players uncertain about the long-term sustainability of Habbo.

✔️ Fair Review of All Unjust Bans
Players who have been wrongfully banned must have their cases properly reviewed. Accounts should be reinstated where appropriate, and a transparent appeal process must be put in place.

✔️ Reform the Customer Support System
Sulake and Azerion must commit to timely, effective, and transparent customer support. Players should receive proper assistance, not auto-generated responses or endless demands for unavailable information.

✔️ Simplify & Clarify the Terms of Service
The Terms of Service should be rewritten in a way that is clear, easy to understand, and player-friendly. Crucial rules should be highlighted so that no player is unfairly penalized due to unclear policies.

✔️ Financial Transparency & Accountability
Given Sulake’s financial situation, the company should be transparent about how it affects players and provide assurances about the stability of the game.

✔️ Respect & Fair Treatment for Players
Habbo exists because of its community—loyal players who have spent years (and money) supporting the game. Sulake and Azerion must acknowledge past mistakes and take real action to rebuild trust.
