Demand Fair Shipping Policies from Alias/Goat and StockX to Protect Sellers

The Issue

Alias/Goat and StockX are popular online platforms for buying and selling sneakers and other resellable goods. Recently, I was affected by an incident involving the theft or loss of my package, for which the shipping label was created by Alias/Goat and destined for their warehouse. It appears likely that UPS employees were involved, as they can identify packages destined for companies like Alias/Goat and StockX, which often contain highly resellable items such as sneakers. Numerous reports on online forums, as well as similar cases experienced by my colleagues with Alias/Goat and StockX, further corroborate this issue.

Additionally, there is a recurring problem where packages are marked as delivered to the Alias/Goat warehouse, but the company claims they never received them or do not have them. This further exacerbates the financial burden on sellers.

When packages are lost or stolen during shipping, Alias/Goat and StockX currently claim the $100 of free insurance for the lost package using the tracking information but do not pass this compensation on to the sellers. This practice is unfair, as sellers bear the full financial loss while these companies face no repercussions. Additionally, they charge a label fee without providing adequate insurance options.

We demand that Alias/Goat and StockX:

1) Remove their mandatory label fee and allow sellers to use their own labels so they can properly insure them.

2) Provide an option for sellers to add cost for insuring shipments if using company-provided labels.

3) StockX and Alias need to add signature confirmation for their company-provided labels upon delivery to their warehouse.

Sign this petition to urge Alias/Goat and StockX to implement fair policies that protect sellers from financial loss due to shipping issues!
