Amid the academic uncertainties, the CLAT Consortium has declared the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) and the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) exams to be held on the same day, at the same time. This unfair scheduling overlooks the academic interests of thousands of aspiring law students who wish to enter the top National Law Universities of India. These students have to make an impossible decision between their future and their passion because of this schedule overlap. The AILET Notification was released on 17th June 2025, post which the CLAT Notification was dropped, leaving no room for adjustment or decision-making for the students. We urge the Consortium to revisit and review the dates for the conduct of these exams, ensuring that they don't occur concurrently.
