The Issue

Help Us Reclaim Our Community

Our home is being torn apart by unjust fees, poor maintenance, and declining living conditions. For years, this apartment complex was a place of friendship and community. Now, steep fee hikes, added maintenance charges, and a sudden parking fee are forcing long-term residents out. Once-active common spaces are now empty.

Here’s what we’re facing:

  • Unjust Parking Fees: Nearby complexes—including Bexley and communities in downtown Duluth—offer free parking. Management is now charging us per vehicle using Parkeaz, despite the fact that the platform itself has $0 setup and $0 monthly fees for properties. (Source: https://parkeaz.com/residential-parking This means residents are being charged only so management can profit. Parking should be a basic necessity—not a source of revenue. This fee is unfair, unnecessary, and a blatant cash grab.

  • Lack of Security: The gate has been broken for months. Packages are constantly stolen. Still, no cameras have been installed.
Ongoing Construction: Common areas have been under construction since November, with no updates or end in sight.

  • Dog Park Neglect: Rusted fences were lazily painted over. Pet waste is a growing issue, and nothing is being done.

  • Outdated Survey: These changes came after the last resident survey. A new survey would clearly show residents are unhappy.

We ask management to:
Remove the new monthly parking fee.
Install security cameras to protect residents and our property.
Mismanagement has overshadowed our rights as tenants. We’re ready to speak up—but we need your support. Sign this petition and help us bring back the safe, welcoming community we all deserve.
