Our brothers and sisters at Chicago State University,  Eastern Illinois University, and Governors State University have all filed 10 day notices to strike! They could begin as early as the first week of April.

Please sign this petition to demand that administration settle a fair contract that respects and values the members, students, and community. 

All three campuses are facing overwhelming workloads as their respective administrations refuse to negotiate in good faith. This diminishes the capacity of the professionals at those institutions to do their jobs effectively. All three campuses serve special student populations who deserve specialists unburdened by unsurmountable duties that are fairly compensated.
