This personal plight starts at Rosamond House and Sir Charles Grove Hall, where both student accommodations share just four small washing machines. Recently, these basic facilities have been out of order for an unacceptable duration of two weeks. The unavailability of these crucial amenities is a stark violation of our contract terms where it explicitly guarantees an operational laundry facility. Notably, this disruption doesn't just affect one or two individuals, but all students in both accommodations which is a considerable number.

Sad to think, in modern society, nearly 50% of students face such accommodation-related issues yearly and this practice needs to change (source: National Student Housing Survey). By signing this petition, we are not only demanding fair reparations for our inconvenience but highlighting a larger issue in student housing face by us and our peers nationwide.
