IF YOU DON’T FEEL SAFE PUTTING YOUR ADDRESS, PUT PAUL REVERE AS IT! Thank you!

Growing up in a world that preaches equality, it is disheartening to see the double standards in school dress codes impacting girls disproportionately. My friends and I have been victims of these unfair policies, being dress-coded for minimal exposure. Meanwhile, boys continue to parade in sagging jeans and often take off their shirts during P.E., yet no action is taken against them. Where's the fairness in that?
Every time we are called out for dress code violations, it sends a loud and clear message: our bodies are distractions, subject to scrutiny and control. This mindset not only shames us but also perpetuates a culture that inadvertently supports sexism. Is this the environment we want our young women to grow up in?
This dress code is also unfair to all tall girls and boys at this school. Some students might not be able to find a pair of shorts that both fit, and are to our fingertips. Some girls might find a shirt that fits them, but their torso is longer so it shows skin by their belly. Our height is something we cannot control so it’s time to start acting like it.
Statistics show that over 60% of dress code violations cited are for students identifying as female, according to a 2022 national survey on public school policies. The GAO found that 90% of schools restricted girls' clothing, while only 69% restricted boys' clothing. This speaks volumes about the biased application of these outdated rules.
Our goal is simple: to ensure fair and equal enforcement of the dress code for all students, regardless of gender. It’s time to address the underlying bias in these policies and create a cohesive culture of respect and equality.
Sign this petition and stand with us in demanding equality for all students in school dress code policies. Together, we can make a difference."

Our goal is to get 1000 signatures and lower the dress code to accept not all, but more clothing for students.
———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
We want to allow:
-1 inch of skin showing on the belly but pants should not be sagging to much
-bra strap allowed but not to the point where it’s showing the actual bra or to low down the shoulder
-spaghetti straps
-up to your wrist shorts/skirt
If we can find a meeting point that’s great too. This petition will not end intill we make some change in the Paul Revere Policy.
THIS IS A PEACEFUL PROTEST. WHEN AND IF WE RETCH 1000 SIGNATURES AND OUR NEEDS ARE NOT MET, a protest may occur at Paul Revere Middle School.
