As a U.S. citizen and voter in the 2024 election, I am deeply concerned about our country's laws, especially the U.S. Constitution's 14th Amendment, Section 3. This provision prohibits anyone who engaged in insurrection against the U.S. from holding a federal or state office. The potential for this to be overlooked in our upcoming political landscape is both alarming and unacceptable.

The preservation of our democracy is paramount. A U.S. Supreme Court ruling in March affirmed the enforceability of this vital amendment. However, without public pressure, there is a risk that this ruling could be overlooked.

We should not be complacent, especially when potential threats to our democracy have been revealed. The possibility of an individual holding office illegally should raise alarms, and we assert that it is a matter that requires immediate attention.

It is essential that all citizens stand up for the enforcement of our constitution by January 6th 2025. It is our right and, more importantly, our duty.
