Nearly every household in the UK disposes of blister packs every week and it is not easy to get them recycled. Terracycle works with Superdrug and some pharmacies, but they can only accept small quantities. 

A lot of people can only get to a Superdrug once a month or less so by the time they do go, they have a large quantity that then gets refused.

The drug companies need to 1. Fund the recycling of blister packs and 2. re-think the way that tablets are packaged in a more environmentally friendly way.
