Demand Dhs to stop separating Familys and taking rights over false accusations !
The Issue
Our children are precious, and as parents, we care for their safety above all else. However, my personal experience with the Department of Human Services (DHS) tells a different story; one of corruption, unfounded accusations, and the unjust separation of families. Despite providing a safe, warm, and stable home complete with necessities and more, DHS initiated a 'child in need of assistance' case against me, as a result of a call made out of spite, not out of genuine concern for my children's well-being. Lamentably, this isn't uncommon. According to the National Coalition for Child Protection Reform, vast numbers of children are unnecessarily taken from their homes. These fabrications led to the unjust termination of my parental rights to my daughter, and the placement of my sons with their paternal grandmother - a choice that has only incited fear in my children and has caused them further harm.
My tumultuous journey with DHS has shown a lack of necessary checks and balances. It begs for a revamp in their decision-making process - a standard that questions the validity of retaliation calls, considers the emotional trauma for children removed from their homes, and constantly reassesses the safety of current arrangements. The conduct of DHS should prioritize the protection of our children and should not unjustly terminate parental rights.
Let's call for change. Demand that DHS implements stringent protocols to prevent false allegations from causing unnecessary distress and separation of families, and holds those accountable who exploit the system out of malice. Let's advocate for the rights of parents and children to remain united, unless genuine concerns of safety are present. Please join us in supporting this cause. This isn't solely my battle, but also the battle of countless parents who've been unjustly separated from their children. Sign the petition and help bring about much-needed reform. Let’s also stop Dhs from lying under oath and not giving parents the benefit of the doubt saying that because much change has been made that no change will be made it’s very hard for me to get a home due to my ex so I’m very limited on housing I have been trying since July of 2024 to find a home with no luck Dhs and FSS did not help me once they turned the other eye and abandon me on the streets until it became termination trial then lied under oath and through in my face how I had no home for her to come home too and that nothing has changed I told them it’s hard because of my rental history I asked for just a few more weeks and I’d have everything done witch meant a place to live med manage and therapy I was told no n my rights were terminated due to “not being ready to be a full time parent” when I’ve been a full time parent for 9 years to a 9 year old 6 year old and 2 year old now my rights are terminated to my daughter and I have 3 months till my boys are gone if we don’t make a change with this corrupt system I have filed an appeal so please sign this petition and let us Familys BE HERD!!!!!!
