My name is Kimberly Miller, a proud and long-standing customer of CoServ Light Company. Recently, my household and many others in our community have struggled due to substantial increases in our light bills. For some of us, this change has caused considerable financial hardship which we need urgent help to overcome. 

CoServ Light Company, as a significant service provider, should serve the best interest of all its consumers. Currently, they hold a monopoly in our area over the provision of light services. This lack of competition does not incentivize them to keep their rates reasonable or improve the quality of their services.

According to recent statistics from the U.S. Energy Information Administration, electricity prices have generally been rising over the past decade, which is a trend seen in multiple states and across various providers. However, areas with more utility competition have seen slower price increases compared to areas served by monopolistic utility companies, like ours.

We urge CoServ Light Company to take our struggles and distress into account. We call for them to implement competitive pricing models, or otherwise, allow for the introduction of other light companies. This would benefit us all by creating fairer prices and bringing necessary competition. Our community's financial stability depends on these steps.
