After the Supreme Court upheld Tennessee’s cruel ban on gender-affirming care, families are being forced to flee their home states just to keep their kids safe. But while Illinois offers legal access to care, Chicago has yet to take a clear stand.

That’s why we’re calling on Mayor Brandon Johnson and the City Council to declare Chicago a Safe Haven for Trans Youth—a formal resolution that guarantees legal protection for families seeking refuge here and ensures no local agencies will cooperate with out-of-state investigations.
