I, along with many other victims, have been scammed through Cash App. The sad reality is that Cash App has taken no action against scammers who exploit their platform to rob unsuspecting users of their hard-earned money. 

Numerous customers like me have been scammed out of money, and despite bringing this to the attention of Cash App, the company refuses to refund the stolen money or hold the scammers accountable. This unwillingness on the part of Cash App to safeguard user interests and ensure the security of its platform has caused untold financial and emotional distress.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) reported in 2020 that people reported losing more than $200 million to scams that started on social apps, a 44% increase from the previous year (FTC, 2020). A considerable percentage of these scams were carried out through Cash App. This alarming statistic only reflects the severity of the issue at hand.

This petition is a plea to Cash App to take immediate action, to refund the lost money to the victims of these scams and to implement stringent safety measures to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. We demand accountability and justice for all who've fallen prey to these fraudulent activities on Cash App's platform. We urge you to take a stand with us.
