I am a resident of Burnie, Tasmania, and like many others in my community, I have experienced the frustration and inconvenience caused by Australia Post's poor parcel delivery practices. Our parcels are frequently delivered to the wrong addresses by drivers who seem unfamiliar with our area. When we reach out to Australia Post for help, we are told that there is no record of where our parcels have been delivered. No photographs have been taken as proof of delivery.

This issue has become so widespread that I felt compelled to create a Facebook group where residents can ask around if anyone else has received their parcels. This is not an isolated incident but a recurring problem affecting many people in Burnie TAS.

Australia Post needs to take responsibility for these issues and implement better training for their drivers, especially those who may be new or unfamiliar with our local area. They also need to improve their record-keeping processes so that customers can reliably track their deliveries.

We deserve better from our national postal service. We call on Australia Post to review its parcel delivery practices in Burnie TAS and make necessary improvements immediately.
