Demand Better Management and Fair Internet Pricing in Country Club Towers

The Issue

Like many residents, I moved into a luxury apartment in Washington Park, Denver, seeking comfort and quality. Yet, continued poor management has disrupted our basic rights to enjoyment and convenience. The amenities we pay for, such as the hot tub and garage doors, are constantly broken or unavailable.

The apartment management is also monetizing our lack of choice, compelling us to pay $75 for a service called Gigastream. Gigastream's website advertises that their services are meant for the management company to make money off of their tenants. But with no alternatives available, we are at their mercy. Once, the internet we rely on for work, communication, and leisure was out for 6 whole days. This is not the luxury experience we signed up for.

In Denver, the average cost of an Internet connection is around $50, a fact that highlights the unjust nature of our situation (source: Broadband Now). It is imperative that management reimburses us for the time we spent without internet and either reduce the charges or allow us to engage our own providers.

Residents of Country Club Towers deserve better. We demand a fully functioning apartment, transparency, and fair internet pricing. Sign this petition and push for the change we need.
