Many people are unaware that commonplace plants like lilies are extremely toxic to cats, leading to life-threatening situations, and too often, untimely loss. A simple act of prevention, such as clear labeling on plants, could save countless feline lives.

Unfortunately, this ignorance isn't uncommon. It is reported that every year, ASPCA’s Animal Poison Control Center responds to more than 180,000 cases related to pet exposures to toxic substances, many of them involving common plants (source: ASPCA). This tells us just how serious -- and common -- this problem really is.

We are calling on plant growers, nurseries, and plant retailers nationwide to label all plants that are toxic to cats prominently, making this vital information easily accessible to all. By doing this, we can ensure that cat lovers are fully informed and can avoid bringing potentially deadly plants into their homes.
