Demand AWM's Intervention for Community Safety in Ravenwoods

The Issue

We are residents of Windsong in Ravenwoods of North Vancouver, BC, Canada and several of us have been publicly accosted by an individual who has targeted many others in our community. This person's actions have escalated to the point where he recently exposed himself to a minor while urinating on common property. This is not only inappropriate but also illegal and poses a significant safety concern for all of us.

Our community deserves to live without fear or discomfort caused by such behavior. We believe that with the support and involvement from AWM, this individual can receive the appropriate help needed.

According to Statistics Canada, one in three Canadians has reported being victimized at some point in their lives (Statistics Canada, 2014). In British Columbia alone, there were over 8,000 incidents of indecent exposure reported between 2009-2019 (BC Crime Statistics Report). These figures highlight the urgency of addressing such issues within our communities.

We are calling upon AWM to step up their efforts in providing necessary support services that can aid this individual towards rehabilitation while ensuring the safety of our community members. It is time we take action against such incidents that threaten our peace and security.

Please sign this petition to send to AWM to invoke a town hall (to include the board, AWM and the Constable on the case) to discuss the ongoing and escalating disturbances related to one resident in our community and if you agree with us on taking steps towards making Ravenwoods safer for everyone.
