Demand Auburn City Collaborates with Brita to Provide Clean Water to All

The Issue

I live in Auburn, the city that has always been home. Yet, this place I cherish has a problem: the quality of our water supply. Some areas within our city don't have regular access to clean, potable water, making something as fundamental as drinking water a privilege, not a right. As a citizen of Auburn, I believe it is our collective responsibility to advocate for the accessibility of clean water to all residents.

Our city should partner with Brita, a leading global water filtration company, to give all of us access to clean water. Brita's advanced filtration system can effectively remove impurities and potentially harmful substances from our water, ensuring its safety for consumption and other important uses.

According to World Health Organization, almost two billion people use a drinking water source contaminated with feces. Consequently, it leads to an estimated 485,000 diarrheal deaths each year. With increasing urban pollution, it is just a matter of time before our city also falls victim to such health problems if no immediate action is taken.

Clean water is not a luxury, it is a basic human right. Let's strive to preserve this right in our city. Join me in urging our city government to partner with Brita to ensure everyone in Auburn has access to clean, safe drinking water. Sign the petition, your voice can make a difference!
