As residents of Arlington, TX, we are thoroughly disgusted and embarrassed by Mayor Jim Ross. Recently, a video from 2018 has surfaced showing Mayor Ross using fifthly, profane and offensive language.  This behavior is unbecoming of a public servant and misrepresents the values of our community.

This incident has tarnished the reputation of our city (as it has now become national news) and we deserve better.  It's crucial that a leader understands the importance of positive public representation and sets a standard for others to follow.

Additionally, Jim Ross’s wages are currently being garnished by the IRS over unpaid tax debt.  He also Heavily praised the Arlington PRIDE events where drag queens in BSDM paraded around children while vendors sold dildos and other sex toys in the presence of minors.  

Mayor Jim Ross should resign immediately. It's time for him to acknowledge the weight of his  negative impact on our city and allow someone who embodies our community's values to take the helm.
