I am a customer who purchased a Mac Mini 2018 on May 17, 2019, for £1,429. Despite minimal usage, the internal power supply seems to have failed.

Having consulted at Apple's Genius Bar, they suggested that a failed power supply was the most probable cause. However, their diagnosis was based merely on connecting it to power and pressing the on/off button - hardly an in-depth investigation.

Apple now wants me to pay £168 for replacing this faulty component. This situation is not only financially burdensome but also raises questions about product quality and customer service at Apple.

I know I am not alone in facing this issue with the Mac Mini 2018 model's internal power supplies but don't know how many others there are. If you have experienced similar problems, please join me in signing this petition.

We are calling on Apple to acknowledge these issues with their Mac Mini 2018's internal power supplies (and in some cases motherboards) and take immediate action to rectify them without additional costs to customers who have already paid a premium for their products.
