In 2004 my nephew Rafiel Miguel Torre was wrongfully convicted of the murder of Bryan Richards out of San Bernardino County California. There is no physical evidence linking Rafiel to the crime. The DNA evidence indicates that it wasn't Rafiel's  DNA that was found at the crime scene and there were no eye witnesses to the crime either.  The police coached witnesses on what to say to trap Rafiel and when he wouldn't confess to something he did not do and told the police to "Go F*** yourselves" he was beat up by the police to "Teach him some manners" which violates his civil rights and his human rights.  The States star witness lied on the witness stand to insure that Rafiel was convicted and that he would be able to collect the reward for the arrest and conviction of the killer.   He and another witness were housed in the same motel room the night before they testified and were housed in the same witness room at the courthouse so "they could get their story straight." The states star witness is a former MMA fighter who bragged on his SHERDOG webpage that his favorite submission hold was the rear naked choke hold which is what killed Mr. Richards.   When the jury came back with a hung verdict the Judge told the Jury Foreman to " Go Back and do your job" which indicates a bias towards a guilty verdict.  The Jury was made up of 11 women and 1man and it was the man and 1 woman who were forced to change their story or be sequestered for the weekend. The Jury Foreman and the other 10 jury members forced the 2 not guilty votes to change their vote thus doing what the judge requested.  Rafiel is in prison for Life without Parole and that is why we are requesting a formal  outside investigation into his trial and conviction and the interrogation of other men who where sleeping with the widow and knew how to apply that hold..
