I am a concerned citizen of Sri Lanka, deeply troubled by the persisting issues threatening our national interest and the balance of multi-party politics. I am especially alarmed at Deputy Minister of Vocational Education, Mr. Nalin Hewage's conduct. It is shocking to see a representative of the National People's Power (NPP) government willfully spread false and misleading information on foreign reserves what previous government handover for them (USD 20 Million instead of 5.99 Billion ). His actions not only show gross misconduct but also threaten the integrity of our political system. 

Distorted information disrupts the socio-political balance and directly hampers economic stability. Hence, it is beyond pivotal that individuals at the helm of power uphold the truth, not distort it. Our national integrity and future prosperity depend on it. We urge the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Colombo, Sri Lanka, to seriously consider our plea and commence an investigation into this matter.

By signing this petition, we request the Director of the CID to enforce its authority and set a precedent that misleading the public will not be tolerated, regardless of the individual's power or position.
