Demand an Immediate Snap General Election to Address Human Rights Concerns

Demand an Immediate Snap General Election to Address Human Rights Concerns
The Issue
This petition stems from a deeply personal concern about the erosion of human rights under Keir Starmer and the Labour Party. As citizens of this country, our essential freedoms and rights, as well as those of future generations, have been marginalised. With the Labour Party's authoritarian response to current protests and the refusal to recall parliament, Starmer's actions leave no space for review or questioning of these potential human rights violations.
In accordance with the Human Rights Act 1998, everyone in the UK is entitled to certain rights and freedoms, such as the right to life, freedom of expression, and right to a fair trial. The alleged authoritarianism goes against these very principles, resulting in the violation of our rights (source: legislation.gov.uk, Human Rights Act 1998).
It is time for us, the citizens of the UK, to stand together and demand an immediate snap General Election. This will pave the way for change and the potential to restore respect for human rights. As constituents, we must make our voices heard and demand accountability. For My Human Rights, Your Human Rights, for the rights of our future descendants - let us demand our Human Rights back.
Sign this petition and let’s push for a snap election, for democracy, for our human rights.
