Demand Adequate Housing Standards in Nightingale Square

Demand Adequate Housing Standards in Nightingale Square
The Issue
I am a resident of Nightingale Square, living here with my one-year-old daughter. Every week for a year, we witness the neglectful behaviour from property management and some residents' visitors. The atmosphere is far from being community-oriented; it feels more like prison reform housing. Our pleas for help fall on deaf ears as housing officers ignore our issues.
Small homes like these in temporary accommodation are not conducive to children meeting their required milestones. For individuals with health issues, being confined in such small spaces is detrimental to maintaining a healthy mindset. It's clear that property management does not prioritize upkeep or the wellbeing of its residents.
In 2019/2020, £3 million was allocated for refurbishing Nightingale Square's temporary accommodations. However, no visible improvements have been made so far - a clear indication of mismanagement and disregard for tenants' needs.
The current state of affairs at Nightingale Square is unacceptable and unsafe for all its residents. We demand immediate action to help these homes be either made bigger so less noise disturbances, or to demolish these inadequate homes and relocate everyone into safer housing that meets living needs standards, and there requirements.
By signing this petition, you are supporting us in our fight for better living conditions at Nightingale Square in Wandsworth, London UK - because everyone deserves a safe place to call home.
If you google " "Wandsworth Council says ‘rat-infested’ ‘prison-like’ temporary accommodation is ‘vastly superior to other options’. 5 April 2019 " you will find a story covering Nightingale Squares ongoing inadequacies.
