Bow fishing here in Maryland is completely unregulated and the people participating in it are allowed free range to do whatever they want. Most don't adheer to the 100 yard rule when it comes to people and property, and a lot dump fish on shore or in dumpsters to rot. Every state has wasteful hunt laws preventing from killing an animal and just dumping the body. So why are guys shooting fish allowed to waste fish. I want to see actual regulations to prevent such things from happening, a separate license for bowfishing specifically, rules that prevent dumping fish, regulations that say all fish killed to be sold must be on ice,  enforcement of the 100 yard rule and no bow fishing in waterways with residential docks or in marinas, I want to see native species like bowfin and gar removed from the eligable fish allowed to be shot, and no more loud generators and flood lights which have become a nuisance for residents on major waterways.
